Krulmuk says, "If it is your will, Imperial Highness, I shall drive the barbarians from the Overseas Provinces. I ask only that I be permitted to travel on a civilian ship and not on or with any navy ships. Valast's men cannot be trusted to deliver me to the Overseas Provinces and should I be lost on the high seas, there would be no witness to bring your highness any true account of my end."

Valast objects, "That is a slander upon my men!"
Krulmuk does not respond.

The Emperor acts annoyed and says, "I don't care if you take a separate ship. I don't care if you swim across or use a fish for a steed. Don't bother me with details. Just stop this ridiculous arguing. It's giving me a headache."
There is an awkward silence. Then the Emperor says, "Go, all of you. You're all dismissed."
The Emperor got up and left through the door behind his throne. The others all headed out via the main door, mingling in a crowd along the way.
