(OOC: You can play further that night or early the next day, but not into the afternoon because of the need for delay. And don't freak out about preparing for some catastrophe or enemy attack either. There is absolutely nothing you can do to prevent the event or change it. At the time you're at, it has already happened. The only thing that we're trying not to play past is the moment when you get a message about it.)

(OOC: Ok. So its something that involves me and another player, I receive a note about it tomorrow afternoon, after the fact. Ok I have an idea of what to do.)
Kortelan sits at a desk and decides to arrange a meeting with the two masters who didn't look all too happy at the meeting.
The note: Dear glorious master of the Verron Rond,
I saw at the meeting on this night that you were not happy with the ruling of the other masters. I wish to know what you think should be done, and possibly talk about what can be done. In case you wish to know there are two of you that will be receiving this note. I wish to meet with you tonight or tomorrow morning.
Ulor Kortelan
After he wrote the two copies he went out to find someone who would deliver the messages. He bid the courier haste and described the men as best he could for the messenger.

(OOC: Please recall that you are not supposed to react in-game to any out of character information. In this case, it's not unrealistic and your guess about the nature of the issue is completely incorrect so we'll allow you to take the action you described. The fact that you appear to be trying to guess the nature of the issue and respond to it confirms the need to not reveal it until the other player is up to the appropriate day. It also tells us that our initial approach was correct in just not posting to this thread until the time was right. We seem to have erred in telling you anything about the reason for the delay.)
(OOC: One of Ersolan's men is ready to take the two messages. There is a problem in that you were never told the names of the lodge masters so how can you indicate which ones are to receive the messages?)

(OOC: This is something I was planning on doing anyways I decided that I might as well do it now as I have some time to kill. That part was taken care of, I thought, by saying Kortelan tries to describe the men to the man.)

City of Verronia Kajakan Yost Province, Zekresh Empire
26th day, 1st month, 41 Cledman VI
Ersolan and his men are busily counting money in the treasury. The palace staff are busily trying to do everything they can to please Ulor Kortelan and ingratiate themselves with him.
Around noon, a courier comes with a message from Zekran. There is some confusion since it is addressed to Ulor Ziyan of Kajakan Yost, but he becomes convinced that he should give the message to the new Ulor.
The message bears the imperial seal and says:
25th day, 1st month, 41 Cledman VI
To all Ulors, military officers, and other officials. No one now has authority to act as regent. Cease and desist from any further hostile action against any Imperial forces. Resume normal activities.
I, the Emperor Cledman VI, command it.
The message is signed in the name of the Emperor and sealed with his privy seal.

Kortelan reads the note and raises an eyebrow, but does nothing for a moment. Then he goes to find Ersolan, "Ersolan, its over. The Emperor is better now. I will be sending him a note to seeing if he will agree to allow me to keep the positions I now hold." After that he went back to the private offices to write the letter. When he was finished the the letter and had it sent to Zekran, he went to writing his scrolls on the Civil Conflict as he decided he would call it.

City of Verronia Kajakan Yost Province, Zekresh Empire

Kortelan looks up "What? Tremalkan? Isn't he dead? Ok. Go find Ersolan. Tell him to round up any and all troops. Another one go to Lorgan and tell him the news. Also tell him that the war is over and have him ask the Verron Rond to help fight this rebellion, it will make the Rond look all that much better in the Empire's eyes. That should be attractive to the Grand Masters."

Lorgan comes to meet with Kortelan. He says, "Your excellency, I have come with a message from the Verron Rond. The Masters of the Grand Lodge summoned me today and told me you had appealed to them to assist in putting down a new rebellion in Angenmar Paven. They also told me that you sent messages to some of them inquiring if they disagreed with the decisions of the Masters of the Grand Lodge. They have discussed these matters among themselves and instructed me to inform you that there are no substantial disagreements among the Masters of the Grand Lodge or any other lodge. They have also instructed me to inform you that they stand by their previous decision. They will help the proper authorities and they believe that a short pause will clarify who those authorities are. They say that the news of the Emperor's recovery proves the wisdom of their previous decision. My men and I are forbidden to fight anyone or to leave Verronia without their permission. You do have other troops at your command, do you not? You are the Ulor of three provinces. Surely there are garrison troops you can command? I have learned from the Grand Masters that not all the troops of the Kajakan Yost garrison were here at Verronia. There are others stationed east of here." While Lorgan is still meeting with you, an Imperial Courier arrives with a message. It turns out to be from Galan. The message is dated the 25th day of the 1st month of the 41st year of the reign of Emperor Cledman VI. The text of the message is in the Kajakan Tros Policy thread here: www.naegame.proboards83.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=northpeninsula&thread=1169004170&page=16

"I asked if they had a disagreement and I was going to ask them why. I didn't say that they had a disagreement they just didn't look happy at the Rond's decision. The recovery of the Emperor is great and just proves that the Uloro are legitimate. It does not prove the wisdom of their decision. I was following Imperial decree which stated that Rubanya's claim to temporary Regency and if the Emperor died his succession was legitimate. During this time the Rond said that they would have to wait and see which side gained the upper hand and now when proper Imperial law is threatened, a time where rallying to the Empire's aid would gain them vast favor inside the Empire they continue to sit and wait. As for other troops, I have few. Ersolan is mustering every solider at his command in all of my provinces, and shortly I will have a letter send to An Op getting him to come back to here in order for his garrison to be spread out until the other garrisons arrive."

Kortelan reads the letter after dismissing Lorgan and summons Ersolan. Then he sits down to write two notes. The first is to Galan and the second to An Op.
Note to An Op:
An Op,
I know you can not read but I am hoping you get someone to read this to you soon. I will try to have a courier who can read deliver this to you but if not here is to hoping that you find someone soon. The war is over, the Emperor is recovered. Report back to Verronia in order to have your forces deployed to the best that I can. When the other garrisons return we will have a meeting and decide where to put the men. I got news that Agenmar Pavin has been lost to a force following the old Ulor. We march for there when we can.
Kortelan summons a servant to try to find a courier who can read to deliver the message.

"How much men do you have under your command right now? We need everyone that we can muster. Angenmar Pavin was retaken. We have to go take it back."

Ersolan says, "I have 77 members of the Rizado Kajakan Tros including myself and 148 recruits from Kajakan Tros. That's what I have here in Verronia. I also have 20 more members of the Rizado Kajakan Tros in Bakoya Kajak."
