All the other ships in the convoy have also come to the village. There is not enough room for all of them at the pier, but some of the smaller ones have simply pulled up on the beach. Others are riding at anchor, just off the coast. In a testament to the competence of the ships' masters, all of the ships that left from Osim together are still together. None got separated in the crossing of the Western Sea.
A great many of the soldiers of the 3rd Kantora Zekresh are now ashore, some carrying water to their ships, some talking to the local villagers, and some just lying on the sand by the beach.

It takes hours to fill the reserviors in all the ships with fresh water. When the job is done, Srenger comes to Nemt and says, "We go now?"
(OOC: This is the same day you arrived there and you did promise some of them men they would have a day on land before going on.)

The soldiers make camp near the beach. Towards the end of the day, fishing boats come in from the sea and pull up on the beach. The fishermen live here in this village.
Ekanor Garon and Ekanor Arno come to see Nemt.
Arno says, "There's still plenty of food for us on the ships, I've had the men offload some for dinner. Now we have plenty of fresh water. Shall we sail on tomorrow, Gurikan?"
Garon says, "Where are we?"
Arno says, "We're on Clam Island. Lisal Koppa. One of the sailors told me so."

Lisal Koppa
Oron 19, Salgan 1, Adonsik 41 Vylor Cledman VI
After a good night's sleep on dry land for a change, the men of the 3rd Kantora Zekresh were ready to continue their voyage.
With only a few words from their officers, the men returned to the ships and soon the crewmen cast off the mooring lines, floated out to sea on a stiff breeze from the northeast and then had to tack back and forth to travel upwind.
Stormclouds were visible in the west, but they were blowing away from the convoy, not towards it.
The convoy sailed for the rest of the day and continued on through the night.

Aboard the ship "Shoolen Divi" In the Glivo Trayakir (Gateway Waters) Second day out from Lisal Koppa
Oron 20, Salgan 1, Adonsik 41 Vylor Cledman VI
The wind has shifted during the night and is now blowing from the North. This allows the Shoolen Divi and the other ships in the convoy to move more quickly.
There is more traffic than before. The convoy passes four other ships today.

(OOC: Which of the islands near Lisal Koppa is Clam Island? The outlying one to the northwest? Or does Ulor Nemt not know?)

Ulor Nemt decides not to ask anyone, as asking soldiers could make him appear foolish to subordinates, and trying to gather significant information from the sailors can be futile at times.

Aboard the ship "Shoolen Divi" In the Glivo Trayakir (Gateway Waters) Third day out from Lisal Koppa
Oron 21, Salgan 1, Adonsik 41 Vylor Cledman VI
There is much ship traffic in the Gateway Waters. The convoy continues on towards its destination.
Land is clearly visible in the north.
Srenger says to Nemt, "The tomorrow after tomorrow, we arrive Zekran."

Aboard the ship "Shoolen Divi" In the Glivo Trayakir (Gateway Waters) Fifth day out from Lisal Koppa
Oron 23, Salgan 1, Adonsik 41 Vylor Cledman VI
Two more days pass, during which the convoy sails past Nass Umrug and into the narrower passage that leads to the Lish Yostesh (Eastern Sea).
Around noon a cry goes out from the sailors and soldiers alike. The towers of Zekran are in sight in the distance.
There are also a lot of ships and boats in the sea here, most of them moving. Four in particular are not moving, but riding at anchor just outside the harbour. As the Shoolen Divi leads the convoy towards Zekran, the four ships begin to move.
After a while, Srenger comes to Nemt, "Four Navy ships coming to us. Not problem yes?"
Nemt is an army officer, not a navy officer, but he can see that the four ships are all Imperial Navy warships. Two are small galleys. One is a bireme, that is, it has two decks of oars. The largest of them is a trireme, one of only 13 in the Imperial Navy. It has three decks of oars. The navy ships are still about 15 talong distant, but they appear to be on a course to intercept the convoy.

Not being aware of the current political situation in Zekran or standard Naval procedure regarding civilian shipping, Nemt asks Srenger "Maybe...Navy always checks your ship in Zekran?"
